Current Status

Nfocus has conducted in vivo testing which has shown excellent results in the following areas: ease of use, speed of delivery, rapid embolization and most importantly, the healing of the aneurysm illustrated by the cell growth across the opening of the aneurysm that creates a seal against the blood flow and isolates the aneurysm from its effects (rupture or retreatment). The complete results are pending publication and presentation at upcoming scientific conferences.

	Pre-clinical testing of the LUNA has demonstrated exceptional healing results at the tissue level. LUNA–treated aneurysms develop organized connective tissue and complete covering at the neck.
	The aneurysm cavity was filled with loose connective tissue.
	A thick layer of neointima, lined with endothelial cells, completely crossed the aneurysm neck surface.
